  1. Yz250 clutch not engaging. Washed bike, cleaned air filter, and checked the valves. Problem: When the bike is running (in 1st gear) with the clutch lever pulled in, the transmission remains engaged causing the rear wheel to spin on the stand (otherwise it would stall on the ground). This procedure is essentially the same for all manufacturers and all bikes out there. But it also jerked a lot from the plates. Granted it's a new bike I'm getting use to but I have ridden a bike before and this is just what I think. I was wishfully thinking it was only the cable but May 19, 2021 · Will the hub and basket spin independently without the friction and drive plates installed. I race and this is a no go. Not the worst but also not a new bike. But if this was my bike I would first replace all the leaking seals and anything else that needs inspected and then put fresh oil in it.
